Fantasyland Expansion Completion

Is there any real date for the completion of the new Fantasyland ? We were thinking about going this Oct but if most of it is not complete we may opt for 2013??
Or what percent will be compete in fall 2012?

I believe that the whole project will not be complete until 2013 though some things will begin opening later this year.

Everything I saw when we were there last month said Fall 2012. I don't know how much will be open then, though.

The new Circus area opens next month. The new Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid stuff will open at some point in the fall. No date is set. The Seven Dwarves Mine Train is on the 2013/2014 time frame for opening.

We are leaving today. Checkd this very same thing for our next trip. Final completion fall of 2013. That includes the new mine ride....which looks really neat :)

It's possible. Supposedly the target date is Fall 2013 but right now all they are saying officially is 2013/2014.

The current date is March 12, though they've made clear that date is tentative. After all, it was originally set for this month and got pushed back.

We saw that too in Dec. It really bothered me that the signs state "opening Fall 2012". We met up with an old friend and he was telling us about the new Fantasyland (I guess he didn't think we knew about the expansion) and that they may go back next year to see it all. I tried to tell him that it will begin to open in 2012, but won't be complete till at least the end of 2013. He insisted that it would be complete in 2012 because "that's what the signs say". I am guessing he was referring to the signs in MK along the construction wall.

The Disney website says, "The initial phases of New Fantasyland are scheduled to open in early 2012."

And when I was there a few weeks ago, after they began dismantling and moving Dumbo, and pulled out the construction walls a bit, those signs were gone.

Yes, everything else is open and Storybook Circus (including Dumbo) will be in about a month.
