I am desperate to get to WDW again, but my job is making it difficult to get time away (especially at times when I'd really like to go). I'm wondering what the week before Memorial Day is like both in terms of weather and attendance. Can any offer an overview?

I'd be traveling with my 70+ parents, so high temps are not a good thing. We normally opt for January, but that hasn't worked out for the past three years.

I'm so homesick! :ill:

Late May can already be quite hot and humid though you don't usually get as many thunder showers as you do later in the summer.

Crowds shouldn't be too bad at that time of year though if any schools have already let out for the season, it can begin to push the crowds up a bit.

May is a good time to go, in that lines and crowds are still much lower than the summer, but we've been surprised at how warm it got as the month progressed.

But, overall, it is a good time to visit. The weather is warm, but not crazy humid quite yet and May tends to be drier than the summer.

We've been twice in mid-May and it is one of our favourite times to go!
