When I try to book a room it gives me a sweet. Can my family of 5 stay in a value resort with 2 queen beds and a roll out bed?

They will not do a roll out because of fire codes. However, if. You only need a crib they can accommodate that.

And I cannot spell Suite! lol. We have gotten a roll out bed in the past with just 4 people in the room so we didn't have to share a bed. So not anymore? New rule?

I have never been granted a roll away there for fire code reasons. You have?

The maximum room occupancy of the value resort standard rooms is 4 (plus one child UNDER three, who is provided a pack and play). You cannot book a Value resort for 5. It's not allowed. And, the beds are not queens, they are just doubles. There is no space in a value resort room for a fold out bed.

You can book a room in a Moderate Resort (some of them sleep 5 to a room, I believe).

POR has some rooms that will sleep 5, as long as it is 4 adults and 1 child for the trundle bed provided. Reservations say the trundle will sleep comfortably a child of 9 yrs. or less. It is small.

I know there are family suites in the All-Stars that will sleep 6 though two value rooms might be a better options $wise. Disney's Art of Animation Suites will open this summer and will acommodate larger families. Another option is the cabins in Fort Wilderness. Port Orleans Riverside offers some rooms with trundle beds that will sleep 5.

For our trip this summer we discovered that the Port Orleans Riverside rooms for 5 guests (Alligator Bayou) was cheaper than two value rooms or a value family suite....

My 17 year old daughter - she's about 5'3"- was perfectly comfortable on the trundle.

I highly recommend the Alligator Bayou at POR; our family of five has stayed at value, deluxe, but POR is my kids fave!
