Ship Ahead

What do you usually ship ahead of time to your resort?

We are staying at POR in August. I am planning on sending ahead some cereal, bowls, paper plates and utensils, some emergency kid meds (cough, cold and fever just in case), some snacks and some juice boxes....

What else?

I've never shipped anything ahead, but if my planning goes well and we head down in August I'd like to ship a case of water to the resort, and maybe some snacks.

I would think twice before shipping any type of medication. Temperatures in August can be incredibly hot and you can't guarantee how long your box will be exposed to the heat.

We always go in aug, and in addition to what you already listed I always ship: misting spray fans, autograph books/ sharpees, sunscreen, ponchos, bf foods and snacks.

I also agree that I would be afraid to ship medicine.

I ship down my shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, hairbrushes, disposable rain ponchoes, razors, shaving cream, basically all of our toiletries, usually some munchies.

It's all those little things that weigh down your suitcase.
