Thoughts for those impacted by the Costa Concordia capsize

The 114000ton, 952ft cruise ship Costa Concordia is now on its side 1200ft from the shore of the Medeteraian island Isola Del Giglio.

Out of 4000 passengers and crew, 6 are confirmed dead and 15 unaccounted for.

The Costa Concordia hit rocks resulting in a 98ft hole in its side

The news of this came while I was on a Carnival cruise (Carnival owns the Costa cruise ships). I was going to the track on the 12th deck early on morning and there was a small crowd of people watching the information on the movie screen by the pool. The next day there was a moment of silence on the ship for the victims of the Concordia. :(
