Taking the grandkids in Sept. and was wondering which water park has the most chioces of slides and such for the little ones?

I would say Blizzard Beach. Typhoon Lagoon has a lot too, but it seems to be a smaller park with fewer slides.

A word of caution, get to the water parks early especially if it is a weekend. These parks fill up very quickly, and they will not allow additional guests into the parks once capacity is reached.

We prefer Blizzard Beach...has a great area for the smaller ones...haven't done the pre-teen area. Our biggest concern is that the waves are just too high and rough for small people and ones that are not strong swimmers at TL. Bobbing waves at BB are better suited IMO.

Another vote for BLizzard beach for small people.

Does this mean that Typhoon Lagoon would be a better bet when I go with my teens?

my son is 11 (turning 12 tomorrow) and loves both parks however, when he was younger, his favorite was Blizzard Beach.

Hi Momto Morgan
BB has plenty of grown up sized slides.
TL has the body-surf waves many teens really like. Scary waves in a controlled environment,
perfect for learning.

We get the options on our ticket and the guys
are happy to go to both waterparks a couple of times.
