Fantasy Floatout This Saturday !

Fantasy is due to be floated out of the enclosed drydock this Saturday, January 7th. If they follow pretty much the same routine as they did with Dream, she will be docked at the shipyard to receive finishing touches for several days, then begin the trip down the Ems river (backwards, being towed by tug boats) to the North Sea, where she will undergo sea trials. If additional drydock work is needed, she'll likely go to Hamburg, then begin the long westward cruise to her new home in the US.

Meyer Werft did a webcast of the float out for Dream last year; they will probably do the same for Fantasy.
