POR in Jan

We are wanting to go in Jan 2013 either between the marathon and MLK or end of month. What are the chances of having a parking lot view if booking a standard room? Would it be wise to just book a garden view? We want to stay in AB section and we also like staying at the back of the resort.

There is always a chance of a parking lot view when getting a standard view. When it is a little slower at Disney, not all rooms and sections are open, so your choices *may* be more limited.

BUT, POR is one of the best places for a parking lot view, since the vegetation (even in January) is quite thick, so I wouldn't worry about it at all.

We've had parking lot views a couple of times and it was just fine.
