How is the WL at Halloween time?

How "scary" is the haunted carriage ride at FW?

We visited for Halloween in 2010 and none of the resorts were decorated for Halloween. DTD and MK were really the only places that decorated for the holiday.

We were staying at POFQ and each day they had games by the pool and often times they would put a halloween spin on them, like play Halloweenish music for the dance party, stuff like that. On Halloween day there were pumpkins in the lobby that had been decorated by the staff, and the prizes at the pool games were Halloween cakes. That's about all we saw at the resort. Some resorts do trick or treating on Halloween day. We did MNSSHP that day so we didn't trick or treat at our resort.

My boys were 10 and 8 and they LOVED the haunted carriage ride at Ft. Wilderness. They thought it was scary, but a good, fun scary. Nothing that would give my kids nightmares, but all kids are different. Try to look up videos online to get an idea that way you'll know if your kids would be OK with it or not.
