We own 50 DVC points at OKW. Next year we are going to WDW in early Dec with some friends. The total size of the party will be 12, possibly only 11, and one of those will be a baby. So, we were thinking about booking a Grand Villa.
However, we obviously don't have enough points. We'll have 150 of our own after banking and borrowing, and we have some friends who are going to rent us their 200 points from BLT at $9 a point. However, since the points are from BLT, we can't book anything at OKW until 7 months out.
So, I imagine we'll be on a waiting list. I've gotten what I wanted on a waiting list before, but i've never tried to book a Grand Villa. Anyone else?
And if that's not successful, we're thinking a 2-bedroom and a studio...but again, we can't do it until 7 months out.
