Ready to point the minivan southeast on December 16 & drive to WDW/Universal for our daughter's request as her senior trip with the family! Have been to WDW the 1st week of Dec., but not this late. Any advice please??? (Will spend one night at Universal hotel, others at WDW...would you put your Disney days first or last with regard to crowds????) Thanks so much!!!!!

Both parks will be getting more crowded the closer you get to the actual holiday. We've found the crowds begin to increase significantly beginning about one week before the actual holiday which just about coincides with your arrival so be prepared for moderately heavy to heavy crowds during your stay.

We've been three times during that week including last year, and they are very manageable with them getting less manageable on the 23rd. It is a good week to go. Starting the 26th they will be shoulder to shoulder.

Oh gosh, no. The week between Christmas and New Years' is the busiest of the year at Disney. You'll be better in the week before.

Yes, you can manage it but do plan on making good use of fast pass and know you'll have lots of company in the parks.
