I did not take notice to the bottle, as they had glasses of Kir ready for you to purchase at the Wine and Food Festival at France. I loved this drink. Is it something you can purchase by the bottle? I understand they add the pomegranate from another bottle.

No, Kir is when you mix the wine (in this case a dry champagne) with a fruit liqueur (in this case the pomegranate liqueur).

To make these at home (They are a fabulous Christmas-time drink to share with family and friends), I have bought a bottle of Italian Prosecco (like champagne, but better and less expensive), and a bottle of the Pomegranate liqueur. Put 1/2 to one shot of the Pomegranate in the flute, then top it up with the Prosecco. Awesome! The bubbly wine will not keep, but the liqueur will store well for as long as you want (although, we have had a hard time keeping it around for long ... my BinL likes to drink it on its own).
