Which Disney resort has the best food court?

I always enjoy the CBR food court. I love the way it is themed and decorated, and I always find something I like to eat. My DH prefers the Pop Century food court. I prefer CBR over Pop because Pop always seems to be extremely croweded.

We've enjoyed the food court at CBR. There was enough selection that everyone in our party could find something they wanted. I also really enjoyed the food court at POFQ. The shrimp poboy is sooooo good!

I have not been to all of the food courts but I do love Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. It has different stations such as a Mexican station, a pasta station, and a sandwich station. The CM's were friendly and the food was good.

Riverside with make your own pasta is the best...

beach = very good, flatbread pizzas, mmm.
boardwalk = non existent.
por = very good, lots of choices.
pofq = beignets, nuff said.
ssr = not bad, not great.
poly = capt cook or whatever it was called was barely okay but i've heard they have upgraded it in the past few years.

i'd have to put por at the top of the list for resorts i have stayed in.

We love the food court at POR. There is so much to choose from, and the make-your-own pasta is so yummy!

But, some of the New Orleans themed food at POFQ is also great ... so we always visit both during our stays.

So, can I say that the combination of the two Port Orleans resorts are the best?

It's a toss between All-Star Movies and Pop Century for me.

I agree that Pepper Market at Coronado Springs is a good food court, but my new favorite is Riverside Mill at POR because on our 2010 vacation, it really started to feel like our "home base" where we grabbed breakfast, a late night bite after the parks, or a quick coffee or soda refill during the day with our mugs! The highlight, as someone mentioned, was the make-your-own-pasta station. :mickey:

Another vote for POR for the pasta station. We also like ASMu. They have a big selection.

We enjoy POP and CSR's Pepper Market. I thought Pepper Market was overpriced, but it is a convention resort and has lots of clients on expense vouchers.

POR Riverside Mill: The seating layout makes this one seem a lot quieter and less crowded than most. Great food. Then catch the YeHaa Bob Show.

That is that absolute best value in all of WDW.

We loved the food and theme of CBR each time we've stayed, never had a time when we couldn't find a good eat. pop also had an accomodating food selection and very large area to sit at, theme was I guess retro style. CBR still fav!

Riverside for sure.

Selection, atmosphere, even the view out by the back windows near the water wheel.

Jakeybake - haven't seen posts from you in a while. Where have you been? Or have you been here all along and I just haven't noticed?

No, you are totally right. Haven't been on in AGES!!

I lurk every now and then but haven't posted at all!

Life has been crazy busy and even though I've done a bunch of WDW trips over the last year I haven't been on to discuss them, though I think I'm back for good now!

Thanks for noticing and I hope you are well!

So glad to hear all the praise for POR and POFQ! We'll be staying at POR later this month (so excited I can actually say THIS MONTH!). Looking forward to the pasta station, po'boys, muffalettas and beignets at both resorts!

Only other moderate we've ever stayed in is CBR and the food court was fine.

Another vote for POFQ. Begniets and po boys are good. Their breakfast was surprisingly good. Everything food wise was wonderful. The giant mardi gras head decor is another conversation

It's slightly terrifying and a bit unnerving. I get the concept. I'd just like it to have been a little happier in there. Food's awesome though.

I didn't have any problems with the CBR food but even though the set up is cute and all I hated not having all of the options within viewing range. I didn't like having to go to each section to see what all they had. Maybe that is me being really annoying and picky.

I'm not a fan of the "food court" which might be another reason why I like deluxe resorts. They don't have food courts. They have restaurants, and a quick service option. I love the 24 hour quick service places at the Poly and the Grand Floridian best, Captain Cook's and Gasparilla Grill. Beach Club's option is awful, one of the worst for me. But you asked about food courts, so none of those actually apply.

We really enjoy the POFQ food court. Everyone in the family likes something different. For dessert, our favorite is definitely The Mara at AKL for Zebra Domes!

Poly's Captain Cooks for 2 reasons... Tonga Toast and dole whips.

We also like the Mara at AKL and the Artist Pallette at SSR for flatbread pizzas.

Glad to see the love for the Pepper Market at CSR. We'll be there in 13 days, for the first time. We have stayed at the values (all of the All Stars), and we usually stay at POR. But since there are not five of us this time, we chose to stay somewhere else.

We love the food court at POR. Pasta station, as mentioned, is fantastic. It's just good food all around there. And, every so often, we'll send someone on a run for beignets at POFQ for breakfast. Last time, I walked up and ordered 30 beignets, and they about freaked. They weren't happy. I explained that there were 14 of us that wanted them. They did it, but everyone else who came up to order wasn't happy.

Anyway, can't wait to try out Pepper Market.

We love the food court at POR!! Actually we like it so much, the last time we were at WDW we went there for lunch one day and weren't even staying there!! The food is great and the seating area and atmosphere can't be beat!

I can only voice my opinions based on the two resorts I've stayed at and I honestly have to say counter service wise Pop Century has Polynessian beat by a country mile. If it stayed open all night I would probably go back to Pop based on that, we stay out super late and always seem to get in about 10 mins after they close. But besides that, variety of CS food at PC is epic.
