40th Anniversary Question

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but is WDW going to celebrate this anniversary for an extended period of time? If I remember correctly, there were big celebrations for the 25th and/or the 30th anniversaries. When was the castle decorated like a birthday cake? Thank you so much!

Nope. The celebration was this last Saturday, October 1. They'll have 40th anniversary merchandise out for the rest of the year, but that's it.
