First trip out of the World/Universal

We are going to Universal for the first time and not staying on property. We found that the hotels were quite pricey also with added air fare at $2,200 I just couldn't afford it. I want to know about dining. Do you need ressies? Since we are off property, I was thinking to go to International Drive. I looked at a couple of the restaurants, Ponderosa and Sweet Tomatoes. Do you have any recommendations since I am not familiar with the area? Thank you :tasty:

Love Sweet Tomatoes! Go online before hand and register and they will email you coupons every week. We normally hit them for a late lunch (like 3 pm) and it serves as lunch and dinner.
