Should I be worried that Coronado Springs went from a crowd level of 3 to 4 for one day during our stay in December? Is there some big convention there now that I should be worried about?

When are you going in December? Will you be there during Pop Warner?

Going 12/6-12/13, so, yes I think. I thought that wasn't a major deal though??

Where do you find resort crowd levels listed at touring plans? I've only seen parks.

If you look at each parks expected crowd level, right under it it gives you the resort crowd level. Not per each resort but an overall crowd level. I am looking at the app for iphone.:mickey:

I might be missing something but I think you might be looking at the overall crowd level. The Walt Disney World Resort (meaning all the parks together) are given a 1-10 rating. Then there is a by park break down. I do see one day during your trip (which overlaps with my Dec trip :) ) rated a 4 overall.

I wouldn't be too worried about a jump from 3 to 4... when we went last March, just a week before our trip, our numbers for touring plans jumped from 6's and 7's to 9's and 10's. In addition to that they changed the recommended parks! One week before the trip!!!

If all you're looking at is 4's then you're going to have smooth sailing. Enjoy! :mickey:

Maybe I was misreading or misinterpretting the word "resort". It could just be referring to the "World" as a resort. If a 4 is no big deal, that's great. The reason I would have been concerned about a big convention is that it would make my hotel (CS) really busy. Sounds like I'll still be OK though.

I've been to CSR and The Dolphin when there were conventions. Your resort will not be any busier than normal (except the bars in the evening.) In fact it my be less so as many of the rooms will have 1 guest as opposed to a family. The only difference will be that you will see people wearing slacks and shoes instead of shorts and sandals.
