We are thinking about heading over to Fort Wilderness on Halloween for dinner at Trail's End and then explore the grounds a bit. We haven't explored over there since I was a child so I was wondering what they may have going on that may interest us. We will be with our 3 youngest children DD6, DD4, DS2 1/2.

We ruled out the Halloween party and DTD so now we are thinking FW may be fun for the kids. Does anyone know if they will still be doing the campfire and movie on Halloween?

So far as I know they do the campfire and movie every evening (weather permitting). The schedule of movies for October will be posted in the Camping forum at the beginning of October. You can see the fireworks from the beach at Fort Wilderness.

they also do a "haunted" hayride, but you have to have reservations...

Haven't been through the campground at Halloween, but I have been through there at Christmas - and almost every campsite was decorated.

I would imagine the same with Halloween, and maybe even trick or treating through the campground :)
