Change Makerz

9/15/11 The new store-with-in-a-store location for Ridemakerz opened on August 31, 2011. The new location is located in the back of the existing Team Mickey store.

6/28/11 Permits have been filed for a new Ridemakerz location in the Downtown Disney Marketpace. In conjunction with this paperwork, Cast have reported that the new location will be inside the existing Team Mickey store. Neither an opening date nor the size of the new store-with-in-a-store has been reported.

Mickey with a Twist

9/15/11 The Magic Kingdom has introduced Mickey Mouse Soft Pretzels. The pretzels, resembling Mickey’s face and ears, are currently available for $4.00 at the Frontierland Pretzel Wagon and are offered with cheese or chocolate dipping sauce. The current offering is a test-run, but Magic Kingdom Cast have reported that the offering is expected to become a permanent menu addition and expand to other locations.

Fare with a Flair

9/15/11 Fairfax Fare at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has recently added gourmet hot dogs to its menu. The Sunset Blvd. snack location now offers a Barbecued Pork and Coleslaw Hot Dog, a Macaroni & Cheese with Truffle Oil Hot Dog, and a Burrito Hot Dog. All three varieties are priced at $8.19 and come with a side of baked beans or coleslaw.

Savanna Sunrise

9/15/11 Sanaa, located in the Kidani Village section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, has increased its dining options. The location started to offer quick-service breakfast on August 19, 2011. It is currently unclear if this is a permanent addition or only a test run.

Kingdom Cuisine

9/15/11 Two Magic Kingdom counter-service locations have recently debuted new additions to their menus. Harbour House, located in the Liberty Square section of the park, has added lobster rolls, baked salmon with couscous, broccoli peppercorn salad, and a steamed broccoli side dish. Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, located in the Tommorowland section of the park, has added deluxe chili cheese hot dogs and vegetable and turkey sandwiches. To reportedly provide a marginally healthier menu option, Cosmic Rays has also replaced their 1/3-pound Angus Cheeseburger with a 1/3-pound Angus Hamburger.

Music to Your Ears

9/15/11 The Walt Disney World resort has filed paperwork to refurbish all of the Guest rooms at Disney’s All Star Music resort. A start date was not noted, but a completion date of July 27, 2012 is listed on the paperwork.

Thanks for the update.

Mickey pretzels might not be a big thing, but everything tastes better when they look like :mickey:.

Wow. The pretzels sound cool, but I'm actually really bothered by the soda thing! That is a fairly steep increase for such a cheap product... :(

So, I guess that means I'll have to bring my own cheese now? lol

Thanks
I know soda prices have gone up due to corn but Idt it justifies that much of an increase.
Interesting some of the additions to the menus..at least its diff things.

Seriously, the cheese thing makes no sense when it comes to being "marginally healthier". A 1/3 lb angus cheeseburger is like 33 grams of fat and 1500 calories. Without the cheese, it's still like 32 grams of fat with 1400 calories.

Either way, I don't care. I'm still getting one when I go in a week. haha

Glad to hear of the harbour house updates, since we eat there most every trip. As for the "healthier menu option" that margin is razor thin.
