Has anyone used Quicksilver car service for their transportation to and from Orlando International? Our last trip we used Happy Limo, but I noticed that it wasn't on the Intercot sponsors anymore. Is Quicksilver just as convenient/good?

We've used Quicksilver, and we're using them again in October. We've had very good service, and pretty good rates. Worth looking into, if you're looking for a car service.

We've used QuickSilver and Tiffany Towncar. Nothing but exceptional service from either of the companies.

Just used Quicksilver a few weeks ago for our quick trip to Universal. Excellent service!

Always use them - we love it - been using them for years - still makes me smile everytime I have a nice Diet Pepsi waiting in the limo. Gregory takes car of you.

I have nave never used this kind of transportation to the resorts and I may consider Quicksilver for my next year's trip but I have a few questions:

1-Where do they park the cars-vans?
I understand they wait for you at baggage claim and then they escort you to the car-van.
1.1-Do they park in the Parking structure?

2-Is it faster than renting a car?
Considering I would rent a car only for 1 day and to go straight from the airport to my resort.

Best Regards.

Our driver was waiting for us just before the baggage claim area--at the bottom of the escalator. We waited for our luggage, which he then took. We went in the elevator (up? down? not sure) and outside where the car was waiting just outside the door. We didn't have to go in the parking garage and the whole process was very, very quick--the longest part was waiting for our luggage. Our flight landed at about 8:30am and we were in our room at Loews Royal Pacific by 9:15am.

We always use Quicksilver to and from the airport. The free grocery stop is a big plus.

We've used Quicksilver the last couple trips and been very satisified. They've been there to meet us and we use the grocery stop. Had no issues on return pick-up either. I highly recommend them.

We used Tiffany Towncar in 2003 and again in 2006 and the service was good. This year, actually in 4 days!!, we are giving Magical Express a try:blush:

quicksilver ROCKS!! dh & i have been using them for years up until last year when we rented a car from enterprise at the airport being we were visiting family in st. petersburg. have to say the grocery stop is AWESOME and a must to take advantage of stocking up on some things at a much cheaper cost.

How far in advance do you need to make a reservation? Looking for transportation to IOA in December from Beach Club resort.

How much was the trip from the airport to the RP? Thinking about using them in a couple of weeks for that exact trip.

It was $115 roundtrip. They do have coupons, I think on their newsletter if you sign up you can get $5 or $10 off a new reservation. Tips were extra, and I think 20% each way is expected.

I priced the Mears shuttle offered through the hotel and for me & DD it would've been $108, so for that extra money I was happy to have our own car!

In the past I've used Tiffany Town Car, Happy Limo and Quicksilver. Our past two trips I've used Quicksilver as they are an intercot sponsor.

I had no problems with any of them.

We just booked today for Oct 1st. As long as they have an opening there is not a problem. If I was going during Easter or Christmas week I would have booked earlier.

We're using Quicksilver, for the first time, in December.

It's going to be the first time that I am not going to drive from leaving the house, to arriving at the Yacht Club. With a trip across the Atlantic in the middle. I can have a drink on the plane and not worry about the alcohol or jet lag.
