This is kinda silly but I have to share! This summer I conquered a big fear by going on the waterside at the Boardwalk. That led to a string of brave rides on the slides at vero, AKL kidani, and SSR!

Today I decided to try something more terrifying. Splash mountain! I have tried it before- got all the way to the loading area and took the walk of shame to the exit.

Today-- I did it!!! That made me feel empowered and I shocked my family and said "let's hit thunder!!!!!"

Next weekend I hope to do rock and roller coaster!!! We'll see

Yay!!:thumbsup::party:

That is not silly at all. It is hard to be brave, and ride the things that scare us. I thinks it is even harder as an adult. Wish I had the courage to face some of my ride fears.
Good job, and you'll have to post and let us know how you do on Rock & Roller Coaster.

How awesome! You conquered your fear and now you're about to start enjoying WDW in a whole new way...with thrills! Way to go. It's not silly at all. It's a huge thing to overcome a fear.

LOVE IT!

You go, Girl! :thumbsup:

I may just have to follow your lead. The one experience standing in my way is Tower of Terror.

ACK!!!

I completely understand! I used to do RNRC with no problems, but now I'm terrified! I haven't been on it in years! TOT requires a big family group for me to ride! I chalk it up to old age(63).

I think I liked splash- I was so scared I don't remember!!! :D

Julie, it was Nice to meet you too!

And yes, I think 40 is a turning point year for me- ready to get healthy, toughen up, & try new things!
If I go get a sportscar and trade my DH in for a 20 year old next, we can call it a full-blown midlife crisis! Lol!
