Have a question for Magical Journey

I have a young adult son and his friend that want to go to Universal Studios (US). Does US have value resort accommodations (similar to POP) within walking distance of US? I wanted something reasonable for them but I wanted it nice like POP is at Disney World. I know nothing about the US area.

There are only 3 Universal onsite hotels.

The cheapest onsite option at Universal is Royal Pacific. It is not as cheap as the value resorts at WDW, but it comes with the perk of front of the line access (on certain attractions).

Oh well, they needed something on the order of a value like Disney's POP. They are young and in college so they need to watch their money.

We can also get Universal packages with several off-site hotels. They probably won't be themed like you would get at Disney, but you can get some of the Universal package perks and most include some sort of transportation to Universal. If you want front of the line access with an off site hotel, you have to purchase it, though.
