Hi Intercot peeps
My family and I will be in WDW in October for two weeks.
Does anyone know if there is a schedule out for trick or treat times in DTD?
Would love my 10 yr old neice to be able to do this.
Thanks for any help

Jo would also like to know because I too (her DS) would dearly love to trick or treat at DTD - especially since its my 38th birthday on 31st October 2012 :malef::bat::mpumpkin::witch::scrow:

It looks like great fun but DH says he wants to avoid it like the plague bc it looks super busy. I am still gonna try to get him to go on the 30th. I want the kids to be able to trick or treat. esp since they will be missing trick or treating back home this year. :-(

It is insanely crowded, but you can still have a good time. If he would prefer, you could do the MNSSHP, which is a little less crowded.

Last year we were there on Oct. 31st and decided not to do DTD because we heard it was very crowded. We were staying at the BC and found out that the Boardwalk was having a Halloween Party and it was fun. They had a DJ with dance music, different tables/stations for games/trick-or-treating, and Mickey was there dressed as a scarecrow for photos. My kids got lots of candy and the DJ had everyone dancing. You may want to call the Boardwalk and find out if they will be doing it again this year.

My sister is a local and took her kids to DTD last year for trick-or-treating. She said it was so crazy busy she wouldn't do it again. I guess if you're prepared for the crowds maybe it won't be too bad?

Just got an announcement today that there will be no trick-or-treating this year at DTD. They will have "enhanced entertainment" but no candy.
