Hello,

We are going to be arriving on 10/31, but our kids are too young to really enjoy the halloween party. Is there anything else going on, more casual (possibly at the resorts) on Halloween.

thanks!

We were at WDW on Halloween last year and did not attend the party at MK, but opted to stay around the resorts on the Boardwalk where we were staying. We stayed at the BC and in the afternoon they had trick-or-treating at the different areas in the lobby and around the restaurants. However, at night we walked over to the Boardwalk Inn area and they had a huge party on the lawn with different stations for small games and candy, a DJ, an area for pictures with Mickey dressed up in his costume, and there was alot of people there enjoying the Halloween Party. The kids had a good time. I don't know if they do this every year, but it was a nice alternative to taking the bus to DTD to trick-or-treat. I heard that DTD gets really packed on Halloween night, so we were happy that we stayed on the Boardwalk area.

Some of the deluxe resorts have trick or treating for their guests. No sure about any of the others. DTD also does trick or treating, but it's insanely packed.

Haunted Carriage rides at Fort Wilderness. But it's a little pricey, ($60 per carriage) and if your kids are too young for MNSSHP, they might not be into this either.
