Coco beach

Can anybody tell me how the beach is at coco beach ? is it family friendly ? we are used to the jersey shore. do they have a boardwalk ? how are the hotels around there ? how is the sand around there ? we are going to be doing the disney cruise next july and the family is thinking about a shore day in florida. any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know tons about Coco Beach, but DH's family used to spend a month or so there each winter while he was growing up and he LOVED it.

We spent a bit of time there before our cruise last year, and it was great. There are TONS of hotels, for every budget and the beach (we were just using the public beach) was clean and beautiful.

I don't think there a boardwalk type area, but there are tons of restuarants and still lots to do.
