We have never been on a cruise, and we really want to do Disney, not Carnival (even though it's much cheaper). Is 3 nights enough for first time cruisers, it would be myself, DH & DS6. Or 4 nights? Any advice is much appreciated!

I would do the 4 night. The 3 night will feel rushed and not allow you to have the last day of slow sailing back to port. My family felt that the day of sailing was the best day we had.

I agree, the last sea day is my favorite part. BUT, if it is a choice between a 3 day and no cruise, I take the 3 day!

I agree with everyone; if you can swing the 4-day go for it!

We had to make the same decision for our first cruise back in June and were VERY glad we did the four night instead of the three...the day at sea was very nice.

As I said we had never cruised before and while there was plenty of information about what to do and when to do it...it took a day or so to really get in the rhythm of things. so on a three nighter, we would have just got settled in about the time we got back.

the day at Castaway Cay is awesome.

I agree with everyone else. Do the four day!! The day at sea is nice to explore the ship!
