DH and I have been to WDW numerous times, and we have decided to take our DS, who will be just under three years old, for his first visit next summer. We are teachers, which means we have to travel during summer. We have always gone during the first week of break (which for us is just before the middle of June--usually around the 12th or 13th), but due to a family wedding, we can't go then. We want to avoid the fourth of July, and need help/advice about trips in August. Better to go early or late? We won't start school activities until the last week in August. I would love advice about crowds, weather, discount trends--anything!

The later you get in August the lower the crowds. They will still be Summer crowds though.

The later in the month of August you go, the more likely you will be offered a discount of some sort. We got one this year of a % off the room. I believe it started on Aug 14th or 15th, so check the calendar. :thumbsup:

Remember though, this is Hurricane season!
