Magical Journeys-They are Awesome

Not sure if I am posting in the correct forum, but here it goes:

In February I booked a 6 night, 7 day stay at the Wilderness Lodge for our December trip at 40% off...already a great discount....I got an email with Karen from Magical Journeys today advising she can apply a little bit better discount and now I am getting a $67.00 refund. Woohoo.......this is the second time booking with them that I got a better discount and a refund.

Its great. MJ is almost like one of those informercials: "Set it and forget it!" I just wait for them to tell me my discounts as they come in.

The free dining rumor that had been spread around was actually announced today. It's 8:39am, and my wife just called to say that she got an email from Karen @ MJ that said she had already applied our discount. We're going to WDW from Dec 3rd - 10th, 3 adults and one child, staying at Coronado Springs, free DDP, MYW w/ Park Hopper, total cost? $2500. NICE.

I'm not sure what the discount is, I was thinking free dining for the first day or two of our trip but if my math was right it was the same as the discount I already had, so not really sure...just glad to have it.

I just have to jump on the Magical Journey's bandwagon too! I'm BEYOND thrilled & excited. I booked a 6 night trip in December at POR for our very first Christmas trip. It will be just me & DH and since it's our first trip to see the decorations, we decided to just do the Quick Service dining plan....it was enough of a treat that we could even go. A couple of weeks after we booked, my mom (who lives with us) received a PIN code offer via email. Since we reside at the same address, Terrisue was able to get the discount applied to our reservation, which resulted in a HEFTY savings.

Several weeks ago, DH and I were talking and he said it was really a shame to drive all the way down there just for 6 nights. I thought, "Are you kidding me??" I LOVE THIS
MAN!!! So I jumped on the phone to Terrisue and told her that we wanted to check on extending our trip by a couple of days, but only if we could still use the PIN code discount. We had reserved a king room, but I said we'd be willing to go with a standard room if they would still honor the discount. A couple hours later I receive an email from Terrisue.....Disney would still honor the discount so we were able to get a standard room and TWO MORE NIGHTS for only $200 more!!!! Yeah!!!:cloud9:

So yesterday, I'm reading all about free dining and noticed that it applied to our December dates. I honestly didn't give it much thought, as I figured the PIN could would still probably be cheaper. But when I checked my email in the afternoon, sure enough, there's an email from Terrisue....not only did the free dining discount knock another $50 off the package price (versus what the PIN code would have given us), but we now had the REGULAR dining plan!!! I was so shocked that I even called Terrisue and asked her if I was really reading it correctly..she said you sure are!

Now, went into full panic mode since I'm usually the person that books ADR's at the 180 day mark. I went into the dining reservation process with VERY low expectations...the only "MUST DO' ADR I wanted was a dinner at the Yachtsman. But what do I get?? Not only do I get Yachtsman, but I also get a dinenr reservation at...wait for it....Cinderella's Royal Table!!!! I know, the food isn't the greatest, but I've always wanted to eat in the castle, just once. I was also able to get Rose & Crown for a late dinner, and a dinner at Via Napoli.

Sorry for the rambling post, but I'm just so excited and it's all thanks to Terrisue & Magical Journey's. It's a trip that was already a dream come true, but now it's just gotten even more amazing. I am beyond grateful to Intercot for introducing me to these fantastic people at MJ's.

Oh, and in case you couldn't tell....I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!! :joy::woohoo::yay:

I am sorry for this question because I am sure that it has been rehashed and asked countless time son here, but I am in the process of making my 2012 reservations and really want to try Magical Jourmeys for the first time as I have heard nothing but good things.
Now, if I book for September 2012 at POR and I leave the dining plan off of my reservation for now, can I still have my reservation changed to reflect the free dining if it does in fact come out for that time?
Will Magical Journeys automatically change that for me or will they just contact me via e-mail or phone and I will have to give the the thumbs up to change it?
I am so excited to try MJ.

I believe that they will. Let them know that you are hoping for the free dining but know that its not a guarantee.

MJ has been great! I work with Denise and she has been awesome in helping us arrange our last 2 trips! Can't wait - we are finally in double digits on our countdown.

From what I have seen MJ specialists are always right on top of any new discounts that come out and always try to apply them to any clients that they have with dates that match up with the discounts. They are wonderful and helpful people and I don't think you will be disappointed!
