When is Art of Animation accepting reservations?

I have tried for April 2012 a few times and can't get a room. Is the resort opening later that year?

That may be too soon. I think it's opening early summer 2012.

I was also wondering this myself. I saw you could select in on the online reservation system for wdw's website... but when I played with it it wasn't giving any availability.

I noticed that they have rates posted for Oct 2012 around your Columbus day ~ maybe they will start accepting ressies in January? That would give them a pretty good idea of the construction completion in about a 6 to 10 month timeline.

They are only accepting reservations for vacations beginning June 1, 2012 and later. That's the estimated completion date.
