Over the hill, over the Boardwalk! Pt 1

This will just be a short report as it's only a three day weekend, but I'm so excited I wanted to share!

I'm turning the big 4-0 on Monday. Oddly enough, I'm pretty ok with it. Although I do feel I've reached the stage where I'm really interested in finding out what Medicare is and that my arms arent long enough to see things anymore! Even when I squint!!


Anyway- tonight we had dinner at 'ohana, those who know me are NOT gonna be surprised!!

We had a lot of laughs, a lot of good conversation, and a LOT of food!!! The service
was horrendous!! No idea why and we've never had it like that before!! We had meat skewers coming at us before we got our drinks or anything else! Couldn't get drink refills, blah blah blah, but it is ohanas, I got two bowls of peanut sauce, all is forgiven!

Tomorrow morning we check into the Boardwalk villas- we have a boardwalk view studio that a dear friend arranged for me!! I'm blessed behind belief with amazing people in my life!! We are SO excited and looking forward to staying over the boardwalk! On our list to do - jellyrolls! We have NEVER been!

Christine, in honor of you, I finally tried the peanut sauce on 7-20. I'm hooked. :blush: 'nuff said, right?! :cloud9: It's a wonderful combination with the steak & a Lapu Lapu.

While I'm sorry your service wasn't up to the usual standard, it sure looks like you had a great time. Happy 40th Birthday - I'm looking forward to reading your short but I'm sure wonderful days at the Boardwalk Villas! :mickey:
