I have. It depends on your travel agent and whether they listen to your needs. Mine didn't and I'd rather book through Magical Journeys or do it myself these days.

I am a AAA member but I use Magical Journeys. They will always get you the best deal or when a better deal or code come out....you got it!

I used AAA once and did not get the best deal possible. In fact I gave the AAA Disney "expert" more information about booking than she gave us. We have booked many trips with MJ and haven't looked back.

I have AAA but never booked through AAA, I have used my AAA number through Magical Journeys for a room-only discount.

I've used AAA a number of times - including our first trip to WDW. Felt like I got better service for our earlier trips than more recently - the agent was the only one in the office that did Disney bookings, so was more knowledgeable about Disney (or at least more knowledgeable than me at that point!). Haven't ever felt like we got a bad deal from AAA. They always handled everything including dining reservations. Now that they don't have a dedicated DIsney agent (that may be a local thing) I'm not sure I'll use them again.

Went through MJ the last time - they don't do dining ressies, but after 7 trips I wouldn't want anyone but me to do them. No complaints about MJ - nice to work with. Would need to work with them more than once to give a better assessment of their service.

So all you have to do is give MJ your AAA number and they can book it all? I'm planning the five days before Thanksgiving next year and historically there aren't many discounts that time of year and I'm thinking the AAA discount may be the only one I get. Will MJ still take care of that for me?

When you fill out a quote there is a space for putting in your AAA number. I am not sure if you only get a discount on room-only ressies or packages also. It is free to ask for a quote all they will do is e-mail you the quote and you decide if you want to book the trip or not. You put down a deposit then if you want make payments of any amount when ever you want up until the full amount is due. They will also be watching for other discounts that may save you more money and let you know. Again it is FREE, they don't charge you any fees to use their service. You can also change your reservations if you need to too very easily just send your specialist an e-mail. Link for a quote is here http://yourmagicaljourneys.com/request-pricing/

There are also many of the people from MJ on this forum too.

Thanks for the info. Still a bit early to start making decisions for November of 2012. Should be fun.

It's never to early to start planning.lol You can book a room or package for 2012 now and get a jump start on making payments and if you decide you want a different Resort you can change later.

Actually I tried and the system won't go more than 499 days out. We're planning November.
