June 2011 Trip (Tuesday June 7 )

Today we went to Hollywood Studios.We went straight to TSM to get fast passes.This park was crowded.My son didn't ride rock & roller coaster or tower of terror because the wait times were ridiculous.We ate lunch at the Backlot Express.Great food! We also didn't get to see Fantasmic.The first show was full so all the people that were left standing in line had to wait for the second show.I don't know why they quit having this show every night.The new StarWars ride is awesome !!!!!! We ate dinner at 50's Prime Time.Great food & wonderful atmosphere.You have to try the pb&j shake.It is delicious.Also the fried chicken is some of the best I ever had.

Wow. For what people call a half-day park, DHS seems to be jumping these days. They need to add more attractions to dilute the crowd. :mickey:

For us, it seems lately an "either/or". Either you get FP for Toy Story Mania & then catch major lines for RockNRollercoaster and Tower of Terror, OR you hit RnRC & ToT, skipping TSM.

Can't wait to ride the new Star Tours! :mickey:

We tried 50's Prime Time for the first time in February and loved it. I agree - the fried chicken was delicious!

I agree, 50's Prime Time is great! The cutting back on Fantasmic thing never made any sense to me either, it's a super popular show always filling up quickly. You would think they would have it every night, but I guess this is Disney trying to save money again. :unsure:

The fried chicken at prime time is fabulous! However, there was a rather disgusting green veggie that Momma brought out with my meal. I wasn't feeling whatever it was and she was very upset with me. She made a huge deal out of it and wouldn't let me leave until I ate it :mickey: it's always a good time at Prime Time:thumbsup:

That's a bummer your son didn't get to ride some of the best rides because of the lines. What a shame! Was it a night of EMH in the studios? I find that those days tend to be extra crowded! I'm glad you liked the new star tours. I can't wait to ride it and I'm so happy to continue to hear good things about it:mickey:
