June 2011 Trip (Monday June 6)

Today we went had breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort.To me this is the best breakfast.Great food and 5 main characters.They had Mickey,Minnie,Pluto,Goofy,and Donald.After breakfast we hopped on the monorail and headed to Epcot.We knocked out the front section in no time at all.We headed back to our resort to catch a boat to downtown disney.We had dinner at Wolfgang Express(it counts as a counter service).Great food! Did some shopping of course.Didn't stay too long.It was way too crowded.Especially in the big disney store.

Haven't had the breakfast at Chef Mickey's, but have had 2 dinners there, and love the restaurant!

We too think Chef Mickey's is the best. Great idea to monorail over to Epcot from here!

Yes, DTD gets crazy-busy in the evening. If you have shopping to do, it seems the best time is right when it opens, around 10:00 am.

It's nice that they count Wolfgang Express as counter service, they have really good food there!! :mickey:

I love Chef Mickeys also! It really is my favorite breakfast in WDW. We like to doit our last day so we are guaranteed to see our character pals one last time before we head back to the real world:mickey:

I think we will try hopig the monorail after our breakfast to Epcot. We usually do MK because it's so close, but we do love Epcot. Great idea:thumbsup:

Downtown Disney always seems crowded to me. I don't know if it's a traffic flow issue or what but it just always seems crowded outside walking as well as inside the stores! I haven't done WPE yet but that sounds like a good idea for a counter service. We enjoyed the Cafe for dinner one trip and it was A-mazing:thumbsup:
