Kona Cafe for first night?

I have many, many days (like 183) until my 180 mark, but I love dreaming about our trip, especially when I'm feeling blue... So I'd like opinions on our first night dinner.

I'd like to do dinner at one of the Monorail Resorts on our first night. I'd also like to do something I've never tried before, which gives us Kona, CG, Narcoosee's, The Wave and Citrico's. I've never done dinner at Ohana, but the food is not really my DM's favorite, and you don't have a choice in what you are served.

So I'm leaning towards Kona, it's more affordable, has some choices my DM would like, and seems pretty kid friendly... Any opinions?

Haven't had it for dinner but it was certainly the best breakfast we ever had at Disney.....

Another :thumbsup: for Kona!! We always enjoy our meals there. We have two boys 13 and 7 and they will eat anything off the menu.

While all the reviews of this restaurant are almost always positive , we have NEVER had any problems just walking up and getting a table.

I had one of the best ribeye steaks there last year. Wow. It surprised me. I usually go there for breakfast and that is delicious!
