View Full Version : Disneyland Resort Hotel Availability Calendar

My family has had AP's for a few years now. Up until a year or so ago, even if my AP wasn't current...I could still log in and view the Hotel Availability Calendar in the AP section of the Disneyland website.
At some point, that got changed.
We just bought our new AP's online late Saturday night (gotta beat that price increase!).
With the "Print from home" option, they sent me a PDF file which contained our passes.
My issue is that the barcode on the passes is not a valid AP barcode, so I still cannot access the Availability Calendar.
We use this Calendar every Fall, because we wait for the special AP rates to show up before we book our late November trip.
I would hope that I would not have to wait until the pass has actually been processed before I am granted access to the Calendar.
Has anyone else experienced this, or know of any way to get around it?

Well, you can call and find out what the AP rates will be.

As far as I know, though, you have to have a VALID, ACTIVATED AP in order to fully log onto the AP website as well as to book an AP rate room. They ask for your AP number prior to booking. The barcode number on your print out is not your AP number. Technically, right now, even though you purchased an AP, you are not an AP holder, and not allowed to book those rates until you activate said AP. You have to provide the actual AP at check in, not just a voucher.

What you can do, though, is ask here on the boards as the month approaches. There are enough of us AP holders who can get on our AP site and look at the calendar for you. However, not sure how that would help you since you would not be able to book the rate anyway.
