Has anyone done this? We are planning to visit the resort in mid-Nov with our then 1 yr old. Is it smooth enough for little ones? Any advice on what to do with our stroller during the ride? The website indicates that we need to make reservations. Do you think this is necessary - hoping to make this a relaxed visit... thanks in advance for feedback...

Are you talking about the carriage ride?

We've done this a couple of times. Once with my daughter and son-in-law and once for just the two of us. It's a very pleasant ride which leaves from Pioneer Hall and goes along a dirt road towards Wilderness Lodge. On our last trip, we came across deer along the way. We also were able to see some of the fireworks above the trees.

If you're going with one little one, there's probably enough room on board to bring your stoller with you but I'd ask about it when you make reservations (and I do suggest you make a reservation).
