Many folks may not know this, but comedian Steve Martin lists Wally Boag as his primary influence in terms of developing his style of comedy.

America truly lost one of the greats today ... RIP Mr. Boag.

He was an incredible talent, they all were in this show. I have the recording and I still giggle listening to him talk about "his mother's male" -- I haven't looked through all the comments to see if anyone has posted it, but you can go on youtube and see links of them both in the original show.

I remember the show from when I was a kid. I must have seen him 4 or 5 times. Great entertainment from a great entertainer.

I like to play the full show from time to time on one of the disney music sites such as VF.

So sad to lose another great performer. I have so many fond memories of Wally and Betty in the Golden Horseshoe Review. We used to wait for what seemed like hours to be the first inside to sit by the stage or in one of the side boxes.

Such outstanding performers. Wally's "broken teeth" bit is comic genius. I will miss you Pecos Bill and Jose.
