We will be at Disneyland/DCA on Fri. June 17th, but we were planning to start the day off by going to DCA and then heading to Disneyland after lunch around 1pm. Is this to late to get FASTPASSES, will there still be some available? And are u still able to use them any time during the day, regardless of the time on them?

(I know we can't do it all in one day, we are staying for three):)

It will probably be too late to get EARLY fastpasses. The park will be open until midnight that day, so around 1pm, you'll see FP return times from 5pm-11:55pm most major, E ticket rides.

Is there a reason why you're not going to DL in the morning before DCA opens? DCA opens at 10am, and Disneyland will be open by 8am. If possible, head into DL to get some stuff done in the two hours before you can go to DCA, unless you are the type (like me!) who like to actually sleep in on vacation. ;)

I agree, DCA opens two hours later than DL so there's no reason not to go to Disneyland, get your fast passes, do some rides, then go to DCA. The fastpass system at the two parks are not connected so you can get a fastpass at DCA even if you can't at DL because you haven't reached the fastpass window.

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin is also on a different fastpass system, so in theory you can get two more fastpasses before the fastpass window opens on another. (Does that make sense?)

.... And are u still able to use them any time during the day, regardless of the time on them? ....

You may not use a FastPass BEFORE the printed time window, but you may use it AFTER that window has expired.

Yea we were wanting to sleep in for just a bit, :cloud9: because most other days will be so early but may have to convince hubby to go early for FASTPASSES :P

Unfortunately the hubby can't go for Fastpasses by himself. The passes all have to be activated at both parks if you wish to get Fastpasses.

So what you are saying is we all have to activate our tickets at the front gate to be able to get Fastpasses for the rides?

Yes.
Each ticket needs to be used to enter the park on the day that you wish to collect fastpasses.
If you all enter only Disneyland, then only Disneyland will allow you fastpasses.
If you all enter DCA, then you can get fastpasses for DCA.
