Early Arrival?

We will be arriving at our resort early AM, and although we are aware that we won't be able to check into our actual room until 3-4 in the afternoon, will we still be able to check-in, get our key to the world, and head off to the parks at opening time? Thanks!

Absolutely! On our last trip, we arrived at Orlando Airport around 9 in the morning. When we arrived at our resort, we were able to check in (our room was not ready) and were in the Magic Kingdom by lunch time. They will complete your check in and give you your room key but will not reveal your room number. When the room is ready, they will text your room number to you or leave you a voice mail.

Occasionally, your room will be ready even if you check in early but I would not count on this.

We checked in as early as 8 am. And plan to do so again this August.

It won't be a problem at all! We usually arrive around 10am, and although we've had our room ready once, most times we get all of our package information and head off to the Magic Kingdom.

Don't know if this helps too, but a CM told us that a late check out works the same way!!! They will hold your bags at check out time so you can still visit a park and come back to the hotel when you are ready to go home!

We just checked out of the Beach Club 2day & everything was even better than we'd ever imagined!! Not only was the room ready upon our 7:30 a.m. arrival, BUT we were escorted into the hotel & were told that we'd been upgraded to a club level corner room when we'd only paid for a standard! Wow, we are still amazed that this happened! I'm not sure how common this us, but it was an absolutely amazing upgrade & quite a surprise!!!! :)

Great!!!!!!!!! Isn't that just a wonderfully magical feeling? We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite at the Boardwalk a few years ago. If you look at the Boardwalk Main Building, left of the lobby, the third floor has a balcony about 80 feet long. That was our room! The place is bigger than my house. that was the year of a million dreams and I guess that was our prize. Speechless.

We are early check-in birds as well. Arriving around 7:30 am, check-in, store our luggage, and head to the parks. A little advice though...be sure to lock your luggage with any valuables in them. We had our laptop stolen out of its bag in the "secure" luggage storage area. :(

We actually had a bad experience with checking in and arriving early at the BC. We arrived at about 11a and room wasn't ready. We got a page at 3:45 room was ready and our bags didn't make it to our room until 5p. We had to change dinner reservations because of this and missed out on eating there the rest of the week. It amazes me some people are upgraded...and some of us get the raw end of the deal.
