I'm not sure if anyone can asnwer this....but the resturant in EPocot is called Marrakesh. we have a resturant here in Kansas city called Marrakech. just curious if there is a differnce in the word spelled with a c or an s? I know weird question...

Both are correct. I believe the different spellings are because Morocco is an Arabic country and thus use the Arabic alphabet, so translating to the English alphabet, you won't always find exact letters, so you get variants.

Just a quickie answer after looking at Wikipedia: they appear to be alliterations of the same sound ... they both refer to the city, which in Berber is Murakush and in arabic is ... not. :blush:

Ok, I don't know how to code arabic in here, but that's what I've found.

If anyone knows the derivation of one versus the other, I'd love to hear it!
