Quietest WDW Resort?

I just read a post that got me 'a thinkin'...

To your knowlege, what is the most quiet and tranquil resort on property?

BTW - please don't list what resort you think is the loudest; I've started another thread for that.

The quietest resort I have stayed at is OKW. At times I was outside it was so quiet it was almost eerie.

The loudest resort was Pop Century when I was staying on the 1st floor near the pool.

We have always found POR to be very quiet...we have only stayed in the AB section but we have no complaints about noise.

That is one of the reasons why we love POFQ. This quiet resort is nice for families too.

Without hesitation, I would agree that OKW is the quietest resort we ever stay at. It's very nice!

We were at POFQ during spring break. I didn't hear a sound where we were located. Didn't even know we had other's staying in the building. We were in building 4 facing a court yard and steps away from the parking lot and busses.

The quietest resort I have stayed at is Fort Wilderness. It was really easy to forget that we were so close to the parks. It was so peaceful. The kids were riding bikes and having a great time.

Agree w/OKW. Hard to believe we really weren't far from all the action.

I'll chime in with POFQ and Fort Wilderness. We had people in the cabin next door and all we could hear was the sounds of nature. It was awesome.

I'll rank FW a little ahead of FQ cause I definitely heard the very heavy POFQ doors slams in the AM. But that was the only noise i heard.

We've never had a noisy stay at the Grand Floridian, though I'm not sure it would be the quietest. I love hearing the MK sounds there. If that rates as noise, sign me up.

The quietest resort we've stayed at was POFQ. It was so beautiful and peaceful there. We've stayed at all the moderates and have found to have a quiet stay at all of them. They are far enough removed from the parks and aren't really an "attraction" in themselves like some of the deluxe resorts so you get less "visitors" at the mods. At least that's how we feel.

I think any resort will be quiet if it's not busy. Port Orleans Riverside & French Quarter, the Beach Club, and Pop Century have all been pretty quiet when we've stayed.

AKL was the quietest I've every been in..and we were there in the summer. Love it there!:

OK, here is my two cents worth.
Bay Lake Tower is very quiet.
Last September, we hardly saw or heard anyone else.

The cabins at FW were super quiet...as for more traditional resorts we found our room in the garden wing of the contemporary to be very quiet.

AKL is so quiet. The busses to and from AKL are quiet. I stay there because it is far from the parks and the monorail etc.
The exception to the silence is the afternoon drumming when the CM's take the kids around the resort - even then, it is a happy noise!

Fort Wilderness Is quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Gets my vote!

POR was pretty quiet, but not when the cafeteria got busy!

When we visited POFQ, it was pretty quiet over there.

It's hard to know what the most quiet is, because I haven't been to all of them.
