Dinner times before close?

I am making ADRs for my upcoming trip. I have run across a few restaurants that only have reservation times available 15 minutes before the restaurant closes. Has anyone ever taken these reservations? I am afraid to be 'that guy' who comes right before the restaurants close... is it the same at WDW?

We have had a couple of late seatings with no issues at all.

Look at it this way, the restaurant "closes" to seatings at the time listed, but they know many people will still be having their meals.
