Who: Gene & Me

Plan for the Day:

Disney Studios
Lunch at Tune In Lounge
Dinner at Il Mulino New York Trattoria

There’s a desk in the corner and another slider onto the balcony. The other corner contains a comfy chair. Both sides of the king sized bed have night stands. The door to the bedroom is huge. It feels a bit like closing the gate to a fort instead of just shutting the bedroom door.

Overall, I think I’ve been spoiled by Bay Lake Tower but have found that this unit has grown on me a bit. Had I written a description of our accommodations upon our arrive – a couple of days ago – I think I would have expressed a much harsher description of it than I have here.

Overall, we are pleased with this one-bedroom and it is providing us ample space and comfort for our trip!

It’s close to 9:30 now. I think I will head off to bed soon after attempting to set another wake up call!

Compare it to Bay Tower all you want, but you can't go out on your balcony there and see giraffes lying about or Mount Everest in the horizon...am I right? :mickey:

This is true but, on the other hand, you can't watch Wishes from your balcony at Animal Kingdom Lodge or walk to the Magic Kingdom or have a short walk to the monorail! (Can you tell I also really like Bay Lake Tower??)

I can tell! I'd take the giraffes over Wishes any day though...Savannah View is on my WDW Bucket List. Maybe an MK view should be too? :mickey:

Love the fact that you didn't feel married to your dining reservations. Some of the best experiences are not planned. I wonder if we'll ever try the room service.
