hi all...i was reading on another website that AP holders can add DDP to their reservations with an AP discounted room...is this still true? We have had a change in plans and i am trying to figure out a whole new vacation...

If you book an AP discounted room rate, you can also purchase the DDP. What you cannot do is book an AP room rate and qualify for a free DDP promotion. (Basically you have to pick one discount or the other, and the free DDP requires the purchase of daily park tickets.)

Back when the DDP included more food and gratuity, the savings were much greater and you weren't given the option to purchase it with an AP discounted room. Now you can, but the savings (if any, depending on how you eat) are smaller and it may make more sense for you to look into the Tables in Wonderland discount card instead. There are many other threads here that debate the savings of one over the other...
