Beaches and Cream is not at the Boardwalk it is at Beach Club and you can get to it through the international gateway in the world show case of EPCOT ( between the UK and the bridge to France) and take the boat or walk or take the boat from in front of Hollywood Studios if you don't want to use a ticket to get into a park. The boat stops at three resorts (the Swan/Dolphin the Boardwalk and the Yacht and Beach Club not necessarily in that order)

The DVC property that you can get to Downtown Disney by boat is Old Key West.

Depending on where you are coming from, there are other options for getting to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. You can take a bus from any resort to any park or Downtown Disney, and then take a bus to Yacht and Beach Club, Swan/Dolphin (a really short walk), or to Boardwalk Inn (while the restaurant is at the Beach Club, the Beach Club is on the Boardwalk.)

Actually the Beach Club is not on the Boardwalk it is across the river they are two seperate resorts and has its own stops on the buses or boat

Thanks for the clarification DisneyWFan - I always think of the Yacht and Beach Club as being "on the Boardwalk" since it is connected by the walkway that surrounds the lake, and is sometimes described as a "Boardwalk Area Resort". Regardless, the Beach Club is a very short walk from the Boardwalk Inn...
