Party Size Increase

We were a party of three, but now my DD's friend is going with us. I changed all our reservations to four people, except for Akershus and 'Ohana. Neither one of these have a table for four available. Should I just leave it at three, and tell them we now have four when we check in at the restaurant?

Also we have the same situation at Cape May Cafe, where we are eating with friends. We have eight now instead of seven.

I've seen people turned away, and I've seen people accepted. It's a 50/50 thing.

I honestly don't think this will be a problem. I wait tables at a local restaurant and if we have a party of 3 coming in, they are going to be getting a table for 4. (3 do not fit well at a table for 2.) Same for your party of 7. More than likely you will have a table for 8 anyways.

I can't see them turning you away. I am sure you are not the only person this has happened to at the last minute.
