Wilderness Lodge ??

We just booked our first stay at Wilderness Lodge. We have a deluxe room @ club level. Where is this located? Is there only 1 bus stop? If so, are the deluxe rooms close to the bus stop?? I read that they are located on the 6th floor, is this in the main building? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

That is correct only one bus stop off the lobby. We stayed there a couple of years ago & had no problem with the bus service. Everything is located in one large building there is no main building but do not worry. We never waited over 5 minutes for a bus. We waited longer for a boat to MK than a bus. You will love staying there it is a beautiful relaxing resort. Take time to enjoy the pool during the day lots of fun things going on for children. It is a large hotel & it does share buses with the Villas but we had no problems at all. Enjoy your stay!

The deluxe rooms could be on any floor but the concierge club is on the 6th floor. WL is shaped like a squared off horseshoe and the dlx rooms are mostly on the ends facing the lake.

As AnnaMom said, the bus stop i located off the lobby and had easy access. I did read it has been moved temporarily to the parking area but not sure if that construction has been finished.

Deluxe Rooms . . .
. . . are the end of the buildings
. . . can be on any floor
. . . require elevator access to 7th floor Lounge *
. . . can be the furthest from the bus stop

* The Club Floor lounge is off the lobby, so the walk from the Deluxe room can require a walk to the lobby elevators, then a ride to the 7th floor.

There are exit doors right by the dlx rooms, so if you don't mind taking the stairs it make things much faster than walking through the building. The stairways bring you right to the pool with easy access to boat dock, and roaring forks.

The deluxe rooms are typically on any floor, not sure if you would have access to the 7th floor or not just because you are in a deluxe room. Typically you have to by up to the conceirge level for that access.

Either way, the distance to the bus stop is not that bad, unlike the AK lodge if you are in the last buildings.
