Prices when booking directly though Disney will be the same, no matter if it is online or over the phone.

It sounds like there was a difference somewhere ... either the CM on the phone added something, or the online quote was missing something (it sounds like the right about to be Disney travel insurance).

It's possible they added trip insurance when getting the quote over the phone.
When I booked mine they added it unknowingly. While switching my ressie today to add the free dining I noticed it but they said it can't be waived after 14days. I told them I was never asked if I wanted it so the CM talked to his supervisor & had it taken off.
