Palisades Orlando Resort?

I just found a great deal for a stay at the Palisades Orlando Resort - $65 a night! Have to wonder what the catch is? It says it's about 18 minutes from MK and about 15 from the other parks. Has anyone ever stayed there - and if so what did you think? Too far from Disney? What about the hotel itself? We don't spend a whole lot of time at the hotel, but I do like the idea of having all that space - 2 bedrooms, kitchen, etc.

I would also wonder what the catch is. that being said, I have noticed great deals at places literally just outside of WDW, with much more space and comparable amenities. after the last trip, this past feb/mar, we much prefer to drive ourselves to/from parks than wait and take the disney buses, so thats not a big deal for us. I would look at reviews of this place and look up driving directions from the resort to WDW. sounds great

Is this a condo type of accomodation?

$65/night causes me to think you may be required to attend a presentation.

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is...

But I could be wrong.
