So what is going on on Pleasure Island these days??? What is left?? Are they building anything new???

I understand it will be mostly shops and eateries when remodels are completed.

I was over there last weekend and along with the shops and restaraunts there's street performers and open bars. Theres an area by the comedy club that had people singing and I couldnt tell if it was a band or a kareoke thing.

we walked through last week and it was depressing! Seeing great clubs like the Comedy Warehouse, Mannequins, and Adventurer's Club locked up and closed down, made it feel like a scene out of a scary movie!
The whole place was like a ghost town when the parks closed, at it was only 10:30! We did stop in at Raglan Road and watched the dancer and band but that was about as exciting as it got.
Knowing what Pleasure Island USED to be....its really sad to see it boarded up and deserted.:shake:
