Has anyone heard of WDW shutting down AL for refurbishment?

Nope. With Fantasyland being the prime focus at MK for the next two years, I think it's safe to say that Adventureland is all good for now.

The bridge to Adventureland was recently shut partially down for refurbishment, but re-opened as of last weekend.

The bridge repair was all I had heard about. I don't think they'd shut down a whole section of the park any time, but especially now that Fantasyland is undergoing such a major overhaul.
